About 920 he married Ermengarde de Châlons, the sister of Manassès II, comte de Châlons. They had a son Othon who did not have progeny. About 941 Liétaud married Berthe de Troyes, daughter of Garnier, comte de Troyes. His third wife was Richilde/Richeut d\'Autun, daughter of Richard \'le Justicier\', comte d\'Autun. Their son Aubry II would have progeny. Liétaud was not cited after 965. His son Aubry II succeeded him.  [1]
