Mrs. Page ran a boarding house adjacent to the University of Virginia in an area that would later be called \"The Corner\". She also opened a tea room where students could subscribe to meals for the year. It was well-liked.
Her daughter considered the students to be big brothers. Notes - Ran a boarding house next to the University of Virginia for about 50 years. She also ran a tea house restaurant, often called the best place to eat by the students. The street on which they lived was named Elliewood Avenue by the students because Eliza's daughter, Ellie Wood played up and down that street.
